Welcome to the SRPA Website. We are a registered charity that assists with recreational and leisure time occupations for senior citizens, particularly in the South Ribble area of Lancashire.

South Ribble Pensioners' Association was founded in 2000 as a service to local senior citizens to assist in form filling for benefit claims, applying for war pensions and the like.

We operate a 'Drop In' centre for anyone to call in for an informal chat with friends or seek information. We hold regular coffee mornings where anyone can visit and talk to local MP's and officials, drop in for Keep Fit sessions, have a go at Bingo, in fact nearly any organised activity that members would like to try.

We now boast over 1000 members and produce a bi-monthly news sheet keeping our members up to date with the latest news and issues affecting them, simplifying and clarifying the sometimes incomprehensible wording and jargon of the latest legislation (and how to get round it if possible!)
