
Excluding bank holidays Musicability runs workshops every Monday at the Arts Partnership Community Centre on Railway Street, Chorley. [Click here for map]. We have an open session in the morning 10.00am to 12.00noon and a structured session in the afternoon from 1.30 to 3.30pm
An activity where anyone can come along and appreciate music. Participants can have a go with an instrument, sing to their favourite artist or express themselves in dance. If you do not feel like joining in just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. There is no need to book, just drop in. Instruments are provided for you to play along with or bring your iPlayer or CD with your music on and we will plug it in to our system so you can sing along. COST: £4.00 per participant with support staff/carers free. |
Drums, Bells, Ukulele's, Guitars and variety of percussive instruments are available for this structured session of music making. Play along to Peter on his Melodeon and Ann on Ukulele and Drums. Adapted instruments are available for those with a disability so almost anyone can make some music. If you have an instrument of your own bring it along. As with the morning session there is no need to book, just drop in. Clients attending this workshop on a regular basis will have the opportunity to perform at public venues with the Ceilidh band 'Full English' if they wish.
